We follow one new hire, David, from job requisition to closed record, with the portal on one screen and Business Central on the other. Every step you see is a native Business Central transaction, not a sync.

HR raises it in Business Central, the manager approves it in Teams, AI scores the applicants and the signed offer creates the employee record.
Approvals where managers already work
Leave, timesheets and expense claims approved from the portal, Outlook or Teams, one at a time or in bulk, with delegation while managers are away.
